Sheena studied Literature, Theatre and Studio Art at Western Carolina University and after graduating with a BA in English in Spring 2003, proceeded to enter into NC State University's College of Design for Graphic Design.
After a few years of freelancing for local bands and music venues while working as a secretary to pay the bills, Sheena decided to explore the world of internet design and development. Already familiar with HTML and computer-savvy, She began learning about up-to-date standards in Web Design at Wake Technical Community College and quickly became fluent in XHTML and CSS. Lately, Sheena finds herself with a growing affection for object-oriented programming as she expands her skills to include Java, PHP and any other tool she finds necessary to get the job done.
A passion for creating and problem-solving, as well as an enthusiasm for the free and open dissemination of information that the internet provides, are all reasons why Sheena loves her job.
When she isn't studying or designing, Sheena can be found gardening, gaming or cheering on the Cubs.
