The DesignHammer server solution is based on the LAMP platform, integrating industry standard technologies including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache web server, MySQL database server, PHP and Perl middleware.
Since 2001, DesignHammer has partnered with Hosted Solutions (formerly Springboard Managed Hosting), a Carolina-based Managed Hosting services provider with three world-class data centers, for dedicated server hosting. Also of note, Hosted Solutions, like DesignHammer, is debt-free and profitable, with a sustainable business strategy.
With the largest footprint of any web host in the Carolina’s, Hosted Solutions boasts a diverse OC3 and GigE backbone design connecting its three Data Centers, offering geographic diversity and automatic fail over capability. Multiple OC-3 upstream connectivity is provided by AT&T, Level 3, and Time Warner, to ensure visitors will get to your website in the fastest manner possible.
DesignHammer serves from Hosted Solutions’ in Cary, NC data center. This world-class 11,000 square foot Data Center is custom designed with redundant systems including HVAC temperature control systems, Power Distribution Units, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (supplemented by a dedicated 900KW Diesel Generator), as well as 24x7 security, video camera surveillance, and biometric authentication.
