DesignHammer achieved Gold and Silver recognition in the latest NYX Marcom Awards after entering the competition for the very first time this past judging season. Each of DesignHammer’s two web project submissions received recognition from the acclaimed organization for a combined total of five awards. DesignHammer’s effort towards applying usability best practices to design an engaging custom theme for the new Divers Alert Network website was recognized with two Gold NYX Marcom Awards in the Nonprofit and Lifestyle Website categories, and the Drupal 9 website development and design project for Railinc’s rebranded commercial arm “TransmetriQ” achieved One Gold and Two Silver NYX Marcom Awards in the Home Page, Transportation, and Information Technology Website categories, respectively.

The NYX Marcom Awards is a leading international awards program that recognizes, celebrates, honors excellence in marketing, communication, and creativity across all facets of industries and mediums, to advocate valuable and significant projects. Since its establishment in 2018, NYX Awards has thrived tremendously, receiving thousands of exquisite entries, from more than 60 countries, each year. The NYX Awards is sanctioned and judged by members of the International Awards Associate (IAA) Judging Council, a group of industry innovators, creators, designers, and communications professionals whose commitment is to move the industry forward through discovery and recognition of new and existing talent. The IAA also oversees similar competitions like the MUSE Awards, Vega Digital Awards, TITAN Business Awards, and more.
The NYX Awards received 1,000 marketing, design, print, video, and digital production submissions from over 50 countries worldwide for the 2021 judging competition. NYX ranked these entries, via blind judging, in accordance with the industry's best standards, based on the creative proficiency and messages behind each concept. Other noteworthy award-winning projects from this past judging season were commissioned by Amazon Prime Video, Twitter, and Salesforce.
